The main sport in Uruguay is soccer. The most popular team is Club Atlético Peñarol. They also play basketball, rugby, tennis and other regular sports.

Popular Expressions

Very common slang in Uruguay would be words such as "Che" or "Vo", meaning "Hey" or "Hey you". Many of the kids refer to others as "Locos" which in Spanish means "Crazy", but between them it could mean "Guy" or "Dude".
